A MOTORIST who drove while more than four times the drink drive limit has been charged to court.
North Yorkshire Police's Road Policing Group received a report from a member of the public about a suspected drink driver in Malton on Friday lunchtime.
Officers later found the male driver with his vehicle in Sainsbury's car park in Newbiggin, Malton, where he was arrested after providing a breathalyser reading of 153 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml.
The man was later charged with drink driving, and has since been released on police bail.
