PRINCE Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are to meet residents and business owners in Stamford Bridge who were affected by flooding just after Christmas.
The Royal couple are due to visit the East Yorkshire village next Thursday, calling at the New Inn in The Square, which was flooded by the nearby River Derwent.
The Prince, who is Patron of the Harrogate International Festival, will also visit the Festival in Harrogate with his wife as it marks its 50th anniversary year.
They will meet supporters and some of the key groups involved, including Musical Mums, Kids, Spies and Private Eyes and Young Musicians, and they will also watch a short musical performance in The Royal Hall.
The couple are also scheduled to meet patients and staff at the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre at Harrogate District Hospital and to visit Taylors of Harrogate, where they will meet staff in the tea tasting rooms, the cookery school and the craft bakery at Plumpton Park.
