LIVERPOOL soul singer Rebecca Ferguson will play her rescheduled York Barbican concert on October 28.

She was forced to postpone her original Lady Sings The Blues tour dates, including her York show on February 6 as a result of recording commitments.

"I've been working on my new album and it's sounding great," says Rebecca. "I'm so pleased with how it's all going. It's almost complete; I can’t wait for you to hear it and to perform it live, as well as some of the material you already know and love.

"I've made the decision to change the dates for my tour and focus on getting the album ready. I know this will be an inconvenience for a lot of my fans as you were excited to see me but it’ll be a great show... and worth the wait.”

Original tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date, but anyone unable to attend the new show should contact the point of purchase for a refund. Seats are still available for October 28 on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk
