SIX women who were arrested on suspicion of theft in York have been rebailed by North Yorkshire Police.
The women were all from Bradford, and were arrested at about 3.30pm on Sunday, December 6, at Monks Cross in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the women – aged 16, 21, 24, 25, 36 and 50 – were arrested on suspicion of theft, after officers identified two cars, a BMW and a VW Golf, containing more than 50 items of property, including coats, handbags, perfume, toys and clothes, from a number of different shops.
All six have been released on bail until next month, with conditions not to enter North Yorkshire, while police enquiries continue.
