A MAN suffered facial injuries in an attack in York.
North Yorkshire Police said they received reports of a gang of men attacking another man at the junction of Tang Hall Lane and Hadrian Avenue at about 6.10pm on Friday, November 27.
When they arrived, all involved had left the area, but police managed to locate the victim - a man in his thirties - at a nearby property. He had suffered facial injuries, including swelling and a cut to his eye.
A police spokeswoman said the victim indicated to police that he did not wish to pursue a formal complaint, but enquiries are continuing into the attack.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has information about the attack, should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
