Crash injures three people, including a child, near York
A CHILD has been injured in a car crash near the A59.
The youngster was travelling in the vehicle with two people in their 20s on the A1, close to the A59 junction, when the driver lost control at 10.30am on Saturday.
No other vehicles were involved.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene and all three were taken to hospital.
The adult passenger suffered serious injuries in the incident, including a broken right arm and pelvic and internal injuries.
The child and driver suffered minor injuries.
