GREEN party councillors in York are having an open afternoon for residents this weekend.
As part of the 50+ Festival, the Greens are welcoming people to Briar House, Museum Street, between 2pm and 3.30pm on Sunday. Residents will get the chance to meet councillors and ward teams, ask questions about policy, local and national issues, and also enjoy coffee and cake.
Green group leader and councillor for Fishergate, Andy D'Agorne, said: "This is a great opportunity for people of York to meet their local councillors. Since the elections in May we now have four Green representatives in the city: in Fishergate, in Micklegate and in Guildhall. We're inviting all the people of York to come and meet us and say hello."
