A 49-YEAR-OLD woman is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Jewbury, near the Monkbar Hotel, last night.
The crash happened on St Maurice's Road, Jewbury at around 9.15pm on Thursday, October 1.
The multiple vehicle crash involved a blue Toyota MR2, a white Toyota Hiace campervan and a blue Taishan moped.
The hospitalised woman was the rider of the moped. She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary. A police spokesperson described her condition as 'serious'.
No further injuries were reported.
The driver of the MR2, a 27-year-old man from York, was arrested at the scene. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
