2 arrested and bucket of cannabis seized near York
POLICE seized this bucket of cannabis from a couple in North Yorkshire.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police stopped a silver Audi A4 on the A166 at Gate Helmsley at about 2.15pm on Thursday, September 3.
A spokesman said a search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of cannabis in the boot of the vehicle and the two occupants, a 20-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from East Yorkshire, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Both were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
