YOUNGSTERS from a York nursery have celebrated their "graduation" in style with a special ceremony.
Children at Straylands Day Nursery on Malton Road who will soon be heading to primary school dressed in mortar boards and cloaks and walked up a red carpet to receive their Certificates for Learning, in front of proud parents and grandparents.
The children had all made their own hats and baked special "graduation buns" for the occasion as well as learning their own graduation song to perform.
A party afterwards at the nursery saw the pupils celebrate their achievements with their families and staff.
