Police detain man in York for his own safety
POLICE have visited a York property and detained a man for his own safety. A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said officers were called to a house in Starkey Crescent, Tang Hall, at just after 5pm today. He said no one had been injured and there was no threat to the public.
