STAFF, parents and children at a Rawcliffe nursery are all celebrating after receiving top rating from education watchdog Ofsted.

Busy Bees nursery in Eccles Close was inspected last month, and received an "outstanding" rating in all areas.

Inspectors praised the staff’s relationship with all the children in their care, saying: "Children are extremely happy and settled and their behaviour is exemplary. This is because staff are highly skilled and sensitive in helping all children form strong, trusting and secure emotional attachments."

Nursery manager Belinda Hammond said: “We are thrilled that our hard work and dedication has shone through and has been recognised by Ofsted.

“The children are always our main focus; their happiness and well-being, as well as their learning, is our top priority.

"Our parents see this too, and they are thrilled that we are an ‘outstanding’ nursery, with many complimenting us when picking up or dropping off their children.”

The nursery was last inspected in January 2012, gaining a "good" rating, so Belinda said she was particularly proud to have bettered the last inspection results.

She said: “Becoming an overall ‘Outstanding’ nursery takes a lot of dedication – something that we have in abundance here. I am so proud of everyone."
