A MAN was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg following a crash near York.
The injured man, who is 23 and from York, was riding a motorbike on the A19 between York and Selby when he was in collision with a Saab outside Deighton House at about 1.30pm.
The road was not closed, but traffic built up in the area for more than 40 minutes while the motorcyclist was taken to hospital and the vehicles cleared.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said nobody else was injured in the incident, but urged anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash to phone 101 and quote reference 311 on Saturday.
