YORKSHIRE'S bid for a fourth straight LV= County Championship win has been held up by the weather as only 30 minutes of play were possible during the morning session of day three against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Rain forced a delay to the start of play until 12.45pm, and the players have since gone off for lunch with the Division One leaders at 146-1 in their second innings, leading by 290.

Yorkshire have only added 23 runs in eight overs of play.

Will Rhodes and Jack Leaning, who have shared 88 in 28 overs for the second wicket, have moved to 59 and 43 not out respectively.

Twenty overs have been lost from the day's allotted 96.
