THE Right Fuelcard Company has announced it is further accelerating its growth strategy with the launch of a new office in York.

Marking unprecedented expansion since launching in 2011, the independent distributor of Shell, Esso and Keyfuels fuel cards to UK businesses now has a 52-strong team.

With headquarters in Hunslet, the move to offices at Apollo House in Eboracum Way, York, follows the opening of a new Harrogate sales office in September last year.

Recruiting an additional 10 sales staff, and planning to further boost the team by 20 per cent across 2017 and 2018, The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) has achieved its best year of sales to date across the last 12 months and is forecasting 14 per cent sales growth in the year ahead.

The York office is headed by sales manager Ros Shaw who has more than a decade of experience in the fuel card industry and was formerly head of sales for The Bayford Group of businesses.

Mrs Shaw said: "Being back with TRFC feels like ‘coming home’ and it’s great to be playing an instrumental role in the company’s development at this formative period as we grow the York team with a strong pipeline of business."

Joshua Wilson, the first oil trader at TRFC’s new York office said: "I was seeking a career with a company which is going places and has a dynamic vision. This is my first sales role which is challenging and rewarding and I’m looking forward to see our team develop."
