Flat fire in North Yorkshire town
A MAN has been taken to hospital after his flat caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the four storey block of flats in Skipton Road, Harrogate, at 3.40pm on Tuesday when the fire broke out in an oven.
Two appliances from Harrogate and one from Knaresborough were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters left the scene at 4.05pm.
