Horse stuck up to its neck in mud rescued by firefighters
FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a horse which had become stuck up to its neck in mud.
The incident happened last night in Wansford Road, Nafferton, near Driffield.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said crews used a hose, lines, strops and a local farmer's front loader to bring the animal to safety, and left it in the care of its owner and a vet.
