A MAN has suffered a serious head injury in a crash in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police said the man, who was in his 20s, was driving a black MG ZR which collided with a blue Skoda near St Marks Church on the A61 Leeds Road at about 5.30am on Sunday.
"The MG was travelling from Leeds towards Harrogate town centre when it hit the Skoda travelling in the opposite direction and then collided with a tree," said a spokesman.
"A silver Mercedes was damaged after being hit by debris from the collision. The injured man remains in a stable condition in Harrogate Hospital."
Witnesses are being urged to call police on 101, quoting reference number 12150090101
