Polie appealing for witnesses after tourist assaulted on The Mount
A TOURIST was assaulted by a man in York.
The woman was walking in The Mount towards her hotel between 1.30am and 2am on Sunday when she was approached by a man wearing a grey jacket and jeans.
North Yorkshire Police said the man attempted to manoeuvre the woman away from the road while pulling at her dress.
A spokesman said a second man in dark clothing was also present, but not involved in the incident.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who can identify the men.
