Six-day-old calf rescued by firefighters
A SIX-DAY old calf was rescued by firefighters after it fell down a 10 foot drop by the side of the River Aire at Carlton, near Selby.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue service said firefighters assisted a farmer in returning the animal to its mother unharmed yesterday evening.
