Deer hit by car in York
A DEER was injured when it was struck by a car near Monks Cross.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident was reported to have happened in Malton Road at 4.41pm on Wednesday and the caller said the animal was lying at the side of the road.
An arial search was launched to find the animal but police could not locate it, believeing it had left the scene.
