HAPPY Days were there again at the weekend - when York Racecourse transformed itself into celebration of all things vintage.
The city hosted a Festival of Vintage - said to be the country's largest indoor vintage festival - on Saturday and Sunday, and lovers of all things 1930s to 1960s flocked to the Knavesmire to revel in the music, style, fashion and atmosphere of the past.
As well as stalls selling vintage fashion, the two day event gave visitors the chance to admire displays of immaculately kept vintage vehicles, take part in vintage craft workshops, and get the authentic period look themselves at a very popular special hair and beauty salon.
Dance lessons were available for free in styles from swing to jive to lindy hop.
