EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a crash on the A64 outside York this morning.
The crash was reported at 9.35am, about half a mile from the Grimston Bar roundabout, in the westbound carriageway.
North Yorkshire Police said a Skoda Octavia crashed into the central reservation, damaging the barrier and leaving debris in the road, closing the carriageway.
A spokesman said the driver of the Skoda had not been injured in the incident, and the vehicle and damaged barrier panels had now been removed.
