AN award-winning computer club for youngsters is to be rolled out across Glasgow.
Computer Clubs for Girls - dubbed CC4G - encourages girls aged 10 to 14 to become more interested in technology and consider a career in computers.
Launched last year, the project provides a programme of innovative internet-based activities tailored to young girls' interests, such as fashion and music.
Support from the Govan Initiative and bank JP Morgan means 10 schools in and around Glasgow will benefit, including Notre Dame High, Govan High and All Saints secondary.
Stephen Morrison, of Govan Initiative, said: "The programme has allowed us to give IT learning opportunities to girls who would not normally be able to experience them, or would not otherwise recognise this industry as a career option."
