Just like to offer our condolences to the family of Jamie and to say we walk the very same path as you.
Our son Joel was killed last April and he was fifteen years of age and he was our star.
You must take every minute as it comes and i mean that in the strongest sense and for some time to come you will be living in a bubble but keep pushing forward and you will find inner strength although where it comes from we still dont know,
All our thoughts. Lee Joanne and family.

I didn't know your son but i just wanted to say i know what you are going through as my 3yr old son unexpectedly died 2wks before Jamie, of a very similar illness, unfortunatly we are still waiting on what caused my son's death but it started with flu like symptoms and his heart gave up. Reading Jamie's story shocked me that another young, healthy boy has been taken so cruely within wks of my son's death. My thoughts are with you x

Can we both say thank you to the Press for opening this condolence book and all the people who have put so many kind words and offered support. To Lee Corner, Jo and Debbie Bucknell. You have been through what we are going through at the moment and our heartfelt thanks go to you for your kind words of support. It means a lot to us. If you want to share your thoughts and memories, please get in touch with us via delboy352@btinternet.com. Thank you all again for your kind thoughts. It is overwhelming, the support and thoughts we have received over the last couple of weeks and the amount of people who turned up yesterday at the Crematorium blew us away. We had no idea there would be that many people there! If you want to know something about Jamie, type "Jay Tidswell" into Google and read the tributes from his on-line buddies who he used to play on-line games with....Thanks everyone and God Bless...

To Jamie,
You used to stop and stare at me, puzzle for a while,
You'd stand there with your cheery grin and i'd just sit there and smile.
I didn't really know you but you thought that you knew me,
I was a face you recognised, your neighbour from the past.

Now looking back I understand the puzzled looks, and where i fitted in.
i don't think you realised that i was Sarah's Twin.

Now heaven has a new angel,
one who will be adores.
I hope you find your happyness and keep your lovely smile.
one day I'll explain to you why I never spoke, and I hope that you understand, I'm her twin.

May you rest in peace, and may the love and support of those around help ease your familys grief.

Where to start eh? To us Jamie was Swisha, but to all he was the nicest guy to cross our paths.

Swisha was without doubt one of the funniest and most jovial characters I have ever had the immense pleasure of meeting. By christ he took some slagging and boy did he give as good as he got.

Which I guess is where he made he bonds with people, his honesty and integrity, on the internet was something special, his humour was wicked, one can only imagine how amazing it must have been to be in his presence daily.

To you Jay I say good bye, you've gone to a better place, and some day, we'll sit up there, and complain at how little reg there is on those bloody Germans!

It's 2.50am & I keep thinking about the nights we were up at this time in my garden just looking at the stars talking about everything & nothing & promising to look out for each other forever. Jay, I feel like I've let you down for not being there when you were slipping away from us. I'll never understand you leaving us or be able to say goodbye properly, but I know 1 day we'll be together like the old days again. Words cannot express the emptiness I feel without you being here & the pain in my heart. I love you as a brother because you've never treated me as anything less than that. You've made me a better person & you'll always be in my daily thoughts. It hurts to think you won't be my best man, or come over with your wife & kids for a BBQ, or just play football every week like we planned after I finished uni. I just thank you for being a part of my life bro & never looking down on me or even being angry or annoyed. Wait for me up there...
Derek, Pauline and Kim - I hope I can fill a little of the emptiness you feel. You are the nicest, most selfless and loving people I have ever met. I see Jay in each of you and that makes me feel closer to him and brings some peace to me. I'll always have time for you xXx

Jay has touched many many lives, even people who have went to CPL go unnoticed but he is still known by hundreds the world over. It's unfortunate that he is no longer with us but for most of us we will never forget the time with which we spent with him.

I wish his family the deepest of condolences.
R.I.P Jamie, you'll be with us all

One of the nicest guys ive ever met, and the fact that there isnt one person in the online community scene that ever had a bad word to say about Jay is a tribute to just how special he was.
He was a larger than life character who was always smiling, always ready for a giggle and someone you could really trust and rely on.
Love you man.

Jay was my best mate online, having known him for over 2 years. We have been very close and we even planned a trip to America, which unfortunately didn't happen due to the game we played together being dropped from the tournament.

I will miss Jay with all my heart, the saying "The good die young" couldn't be more appropriate in this instance.

Rest Well Jay, see you up there soon mate!

Jamie, you were a gentleman of the kind we simply don't find anymore. I will always remember the hommie hand shake, the way we called each other "brother from another mother" and the "superleague" we set up! The way you were going to have 20 best men at your wedding, but only because you couldn't ask Kim to do it. I will always rememer the long walks back to Acomb, in the dark, when we'd set the world to rights long after the rest of the world had gone to sleep and new years when we stayed up planning the next year until 6 in the morning. I also have to mention our awful dancing at the Warehouse!! So much of it felt like just daft fun at the time, but it was always something more. Most of all I will remember the plans that will never happen. The summer in Berlin and the joint birthday in London to name a few. We were ambitious, but we would have done it because the world was at our feet. I will never forget the way you spoke about your parents and Kim with such love and admiration, especially Kim, your best friend in the world.
Derek and Pauline, I have so much respect for you, having raised two of the best people I've ever met. My thoughts are with you and I hope you feel at least some comfort from the amazing reaction from everyone who knew him, both at the funeral and in this log

Jamie really touched people from all over the world.

It's really shame that he passed away so young and i didn't even get to know him in real life. He was a cool kid online, i remember him from the first day i started gaming, he was like the first person to meet and was a lot of fun to play with him.

I wish all the best to Jamies family and friends, so those all from RoYaL pLaYaZ and i hope he is okay up there. Like i said a song out to him and may he find peace.

Having read all the above I got some chills on my back again, just like the first few days after I had heard this tragic news. I'm from Belgium, which goes to show that Jay made friends wherever he was or whatever he did, just by being the nice guy he is.

I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you much in that last week, I wish I had. Had a lot of fun with you and you will be sorely missed! One of the online games we played for fun was called "Pirates, Vikings and Knights II" and I'm sure you all know he chose to be a Pirate. Love you and I'll never forget you!

To Jamie
Thank you for all the happiness and laughter that you brought to our house. There were not many things that stopped the gang of lads from eating but your jokes and impressions converted mealtimes to chaos. Life can be very cruel and my heart goes out to your family at this sad time. I know that wherever you are the laughter will have followed you.

I was truly shocked and speachless when I got a call from andy skingle explaining the terrible news. I went to school with Tiddy for 5 years, and tho we never really crossed paths much in the classroom, we met many times on the footy pitches at lunch.

I was usually the one with the unfortunate task of marking the lanky so and so :P. I really do remember his great enthusiasm, he loved his footy and gaming and I'm glad to say i shared experiences with him in both respects.

Take care jay, you'll always be remembered. RIP
