POLICE have urged the public to report any sightings of a missing woman, believed to be in the York area.
Jacqueline Davis, 43, from Blyth, was reported missing last Friday after she failed to return home from work in the Newburn area of Northumberland.
Recent enquiries have shown that Jacqueline may be in the York area and residents, workers and visitors are asked to come forward to police if they think they may have seen her. Northumbria Police said her family were concerned for her welfare, and keen to hear that she is safe and well.
She is white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, slim build with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat with a dark coloured knee length skirt.
Inspector Ian Dey said: "We're keen for Jacqueline to get in touch so her family can be reassured she is ok. We're carrying out searches to find her and would urge anyone who may know of her whereabouts to contact us."
Anyone with information should phone 101.
