EIGHT people were held on suspicion of offences ranging from drug dealing to money laundering during a series of raids in Harrogate.
Twenty police officers executed three warrants and searched homes in the town.
Friday’s raids saw cannabis seized from a property in Ripon Road and a woman, 30, and man, 21, arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.
They have since been released on police bail. Another warrant, at Avenue Place, saw officers seize cannabis and other items.
A man, 31, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply. He was bailed and another was given a cannabis warning.
A property in Walworth Avenue was searched and a man, 18 and woman, 36, were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs. Both have been bailed.
A man, 30, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering after a raid in Cheltenham Crescent while a man wanted in connection with a burglary was found at a home in Hyde Park Road. A second person was charged with obstruction.
