JAMES will make their Scarborough Open Air Theatre debut in May.

Led by Boston Spa singer Tim Booth, the Manchester indie band with 20 Top 40 hits, will perform songs from their 33-year career plus material from last year's La Petite Mort, their 13th studio album, whose stand-out tracks were Moving On, Curse Curse, Frozen Britain and All I'm Saying.

The original line-up of Booth, Jim Glennie, Larry Gott, Saul Davies, Mark Hunter, David Baynton-Power and Andy Diagram re-formed in 2007, since when James have played arena tours regularly, including last November's appearance at Leeds First Direct Arena. These have supported such new recordings as Hey Ma in 2008 and the mini-albums The Night Before and The Morning After in April and September 2010 respectively, leading to last June's La Petite Mort.

Tickets for May 22 are on sale on 01723 821888 and online at scarboroughspa.co.uk
