A NORTH Yorkshire man died in a crash near Harrogate on Friday.
The 44-year-old man was driving a silver Mitsubishi Coupe from Knaresborough towards Ripley on the B6165 at Nidd when it left the road and hit a tree.
North Yorkshire Police said they want to speak to anyone who stopped at the scene, including a man who offered to disconnect the vehicle’s battery.
