A1079 east of York blocked by accident
THREE people were injured in a crash near York in the early hours of this morning.
Humberside Police said they were in a car which came off the A1079 at Kexby Bridge at about 3am.
A spokesman described two as 'walking wounded' and said a third person had chest injuries, possibly fractured ribs. A fourth person who was in the car was uninjured.
He said the casualties were all taken to York Hospital. The road was blocked in both directions for several hours after the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles.
