STUNNING photographs of York Minster after hours have gone on display in the cathedral's Chapter House.
The pictures were taken by members of York Photographic Society during specially arranged evening visits to the Minster last year.
Society president Allan Harris said: "In April 2013, a group of us went to York Minster and spent the evening photographing the interior of York's most famous landmark.
"The fact that it was an evening visit meant that there were no other visitors, making the act of photographing much easier. We returned for another evening visit in June."
He said 46 photographs - not all of them taken during the evening visits - were being shown at the exhibition, with the money raised from any sold going to Minster funds.
The exhibition can be visited until September 25 during normal Minster opening hours.
