North Yorkshire Police want your help to trace them in connection with alleged shoplifting and thefts in York over the last weeks.

Officers are looking for six people, all of whom are said to be caught on camera stealing from shops or other people in the city.

The first woman, seen in image one, is suspected of taking a jumper from the Ness shop in Stonegate on June 28.

She was caught on camera at the nearby Antiques Centre, where she allegedly took price tags from some items and threw them away.

On another occasion, two men were seen going into Currys at Clifton Moor, where they are suspected of putting an internal hard drive and a Freesat digital recorder down the back of one man’s trousers, and leaving without paying.

On Saturday, May 31, a woman is thought to have stolen a purse and an iPhone 4 from another woman in Claire’s Accessories in Parliament Street.

The blonde woman was caught on camera in the shop, and is pictured in image two.

In images five and three, a man and a woman who went to Stormfront in Spurriergate three times between May and July can be seen.

Each time the pair allegedly took something – on the first occasion it was two Sound Dock speakers, followed by a Lacie disk drive, and finally two Jambox minispeakers.

Police are asking anyone who recognises any of the suspects in the pictures to call 101, selecting option one, and ask for the Force Control Room.
