A set of room keys used by a man being hunted over the fatal stabbing of a guest house landlady in East Yorkshire are being sought as part of the murder inquiry.
Bei Carter, 49, was found dead at the guest house she ran in Bridlington on Friday.
Officers are continuing to search for guest John Heald, 53, from Rotherham, and have said the keys for room 1 - where he checked in on 17 July - are missing.
Anyone who sees Mr Heald is asked to dial 999.
Det Ch Insp Matthew Baldwin of Humberside Police, who is leading the murder investigation, said the keys may have been “lost or discarded” in the Bridlington or South Yorkshire area.
Mr Heald is thought to have travelled back to South Yorkshire.
More than 150 police, including armed officers, are involved in the hunt for him.
He is also wanted in connection with a serious offence in Sheffield on 13 July and anyone seeing Mr Heald should phone 999, police said.
