UPDATED 4.10pm: North Yorkshire Police have confirmed Kieran has been found safe and well today.
POLICE are concerned for the safety of a teenager who has been missing since Saturday.
Kieran Deighton, 16, left his Scarborough home at lunchtime on Saturday to go camping with friends on The Mount, and was seen later that day outside Tesco Express in Castle Road, but has not been seen since.
He was reported missing by his mother yesterday, and police said they were particularly concerned for his safety, as he is known to be easily led and needs access to to his medication.
Kieran is white, about 5ft 10ins tall, with medium build, short ginger hair, brown eyes and a pale complextion. He was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with a blue stripe, black jogging bottoms and dark blue trainers, with a diamond stud in his left ear.
Anyone who has seen Kieran, or any of his friends who know his whereabouts, are urged to contact North Yorkshire Police as soon as possible on 101.
