A MAN was attacked in a York street last night.
The 64-year-old man was walking in Gillygate at about 11pm, when he was approached by a group of three men and two women, two of whom were pushing bicycles.
One of the men in the group, described as white, in his twenties, with a stocky build and short shaved dark hair, punched the victim in the face. The group walked off towards Lord Mayor's Walk.
The victim was left with a bloodied nose, and was treated at York Hospital.
