A WOMAN who fell while riding a horse has been airlifted to hospital.
The woman was riding on private land near Heslington, near York, when she fell at about 10.30am today.
A spokeswoman for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance said the rider was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious but non-life threatening injuries to her back and neck.
