nice to see some classic racial stereo typing there, with spectators dressed in striped tops, berets and strings of onions.

What a grump!

I'm all for the tour and what it brings to the region, but ignorant racial stereo typing just adds to the view people have of Yorkshire folk.

I assume you wouldnt mind if there was an African equivalent to the tour starting here and people lined the streets blacked up holding bananas?

Hardly millions. Police reckon 75,000.

90 percent of people couldn't care less about a French bike race.

Unbelievable, If you think that there is any similarities between a Breton shirt and 'blacking up whilst carrying a banana' then there is literally no hope for you.

I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you are a Troll, the only alternative is that you are an idiot!!

Stop trying to tear down a massive success for Yorkshire, you are a disgrace!

Nearly a million watching along the route, millions more watching the spectacular scenes of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

It's like a massive worldwide advert for how brilliant Yorkshire can be.

The whingers must be absolutely hating the fact that it's proving to be such a massive success.

Oh, and the cycling was a real treat too.

Let's hope York can do us proud tomorrow.
