A MAN suffered a serious head injury in a car park crash near York.
The 43-year-old man came off his Suzuki off road motorbike and suffered a serious head injury in the car park of the Dean’s Garden Centre, Stockton Lane, Stockton-on-the-Forest.
A crowd of people were at the centre at the time of the accident on Wednesday, June 25.
The man, who is from Stockton-on-the-Forest was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he remains in a poorly but stable condition.
Traffic Sergeant Hamish Halloway, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: “I know that there was a large number of bikers at Dean’s Garden Centre at the time of the collision and I urge any of them who witnessed the incident to get in touch with the police straight away.”
