THOUSANDS of women from around North Yorkshire are preparing to take part in this year's Race For Life this morning.
More than 2,500 people are expected to take part in today's event at York Racecourse, which will see participants take on either a 5km or a 10km run, and all have raised money for Cancer Research.
Among those taking part in the race today are more than 150 pupils from Queen Margaret's School in Escrick, pictured.
The Press will be reporting live from the run throughout the morning, and you can send your pictures or tweets to @yorkpress
*The full list of runners in both the 5km and 10km races will be available at thepress.co.uk later today, and The Press will publish a special supplement, featuring pictures of runners in the race, tomorrow.
