Man arrested over student attack
A MAN has been arrested in connection with an attack which saw a University of York student punched in the face.
The 21-year-old woman was walking near Lawrence Street, York, in the early hours of Monday, when she was punched three times by a man.
On Tuesday, North Yorkshire Police released a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident, and have since arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with it.
The man has since been released on bail, and police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
