Retiring bishop is honoured
THE retiring Bishop of Burnley will be honoured by a community cohesion group tonight.
Building Bridges Burnley will be holding their annual general meeting, where they will say farewell to the Bishop, the Rt Rev John Goddard.
Bishop John, 66, will retire on July 19 after 14 years in Burnley.
Tonight’s meeting takes place at the Shah Jalal Masjid Mosque, off Burns Street, in Burnley.
