A TOTAL of 33 players were utilised including a record number of six goalkeepers and for the second successive campaign there were no ever-presents. In 2001/02, 32 players made senior appearances and the club record of 38 was set in 2000/01.
The average league attendance at Bootham Crescent was 4,176 (3,144 in 2001/02) and has been bettered only once since 1984/85. That was in 1993/94 when crowds averaged 4,633.
City completed two league doubles - Leyton Orient and Swansea City - and lost to two clubs twice - Oxford United and Scunthorpe United.
THEY failed to score in 13 games and kept 13 clean sheets - an identical record to 2001/02.
