ON Saturday, June 7, two local girls, Darcy Richardson and Georgia McCollouch, will be heading to Westpoint Arena in Exeter to represent Wales in the Trampoline and Tumbling Regional Finals.

The competition takes the best competitors in each category from across the country and pits them against one another for the pride and success of their region. Following successful qualification in the Welsh regional competition in Cardiff on April 6, the girls are both excited and nervous to represent both their club, Caerau Vale Trampoline Club, and the country in the upcoming competition against the best in the United Kingdom. Darcy attends Stanwell School and will be competing in the NDP level 3 trampolining category; and Georgia, who is a student at St Cyres, will be competing in the NDP level 5 trampolining category.

Darcy and Georgia are members of Caerau Vale Trampoline Club in Penarth, a growing club with exciting new prospects on the horizon over the coming year. The club and coaching team are very proud of the girls and what they’ve achieved and hope to have more members pushing on to such great heights in the future.
