Three tonne truck flattens traffic lights
A THREE tonne truck has flattened York traffic lights this afternoon.
The flatbed truck crashed into the lights near the bar walls in Lawrence Street in York at 3.45pm.
North Yorkshire Police said the truck has now become stuck on the traffic lights. The power is having to be switched off to the lights before the vehicle can be recovered.
No-one has been injured but the driver is shaken, a police spokesman said.
