Three men in serious condition after being taken ill on vessel
THREE men are in a serious condition in hospital after being taken ill on board a boat at a dock in Goole.
The men, aged 60, 30 and 38 - none of them from the Humberside area - were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary after police were called to the vessel in West Dock, Bridge Street, at just after 7am today, following reports that a man had been taken ill.
Humberside Police said inquiries had been launched to establish the circumstances and the investigation, which also involved the Fire Service and Health and Safety Executive, was in the very early stages.
