FIREFIGHTERS from Thirsk and Ripon were called to a petrol station forecourt after four vehicles and a trailer were involved in a collision.

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said a man was treated by an ambulance crew after suffering minor head injuries in the accident, which happened at a garage on the A61 at Busby Stoop near Thirsk at 11am today.

Fire crews made the vehicles safe and assisted in clearing an oil spill from the garage forecourt.
