THIRTY percent of eligible voters in York turned out in the European elections on Thursday.
City of York Council's Chief Executive Kersten England, who is returning officer for the city, announced the turnout was 30.91 percent this afternoon.
The figure across the Yorkshire and the Humber was 33.63 percent. The votes will be counted in Leeds on Sunday with the results to be announced from 10pm.
