It really was nice weather for ducks as an annual Duck Race raised £1568 for a Chappel primary school.
Sunday's event was jointly run by Friends of Chappel School and the Swan pub and funds will go towards playground equipment for Chappel Church of England Primary School.
Children lined the banks of the River Colne at Chappel and Wakes Colne bridges to spot their sponsored rubber duck as they were released into the water.
Organiser Linda Goodchild said: “This is the most money we have ever raised at the Duck Race.
"The school are overjoyed with the amount raised and it was a beautiful day."
