Man trapped for 50 minutes in crashed car
Firefighters rescued a man trapped in a car after it collided with a van on the A167 north of Northallerton this morning.
It took them 50 minutes to cut him free from the car wreckage. Both he and the van driver, who did not need rescuing, were taken to hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.
