TWO men have been arrested on drug charges this week.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police's Firearms Unit, Road Policing Group and the Neighbourhood Support Team were involved in the incident on Tuesday.
A 27-year-old York man was stopped in his car on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 13, and arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
As a result of further enquiries, a property search was carried out and a second man - aged in his forties and also from the York area - was arrested in connection with the supply of class A drugs.
